I’m Nicole, the founder of Level Up Playground Consulting & Equipment — and my work is rooted in a simple belief: when we design better places for children to play, we strengthen the communities that support them.

My journey began long before I ever stepped into the playground industry. I started my career in early childhood education, spending years as a classroom teacher with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Sitting on the floor with children, supporting families, and watching learning unfold through play shaped my understanding of what a truly meaningful play environment should be. As I moved into center leadership and eventually multi‑site management, I learned the operational realities that educators and organizations face every day — licensing, safety, staffing, budgets, and the constant pressure to do more with less.

That experience became the foundation for Level Up.

When I transitioned into playground consulting and equipment sales, I saw how overwhelming the process could be for schools, child care centers, churches, and community programs. Safety standards were confusing. Product options felt endless. And too often, organizations were left to navigate major decisions without clear, honest guidance. I realized that my background — blending child development, operations, safety, and leadership — gave me a unique ability to help.

Level Up was created to fill that gap.
